Custom Tattoos in Pasay City
Every tattoo we do at Omom Tattoo Studio is custom. We don’t work from flash sheets or repeat the same design twice — each piece is built around your idea, your reference, and where it’s going on your body. A custom tattoo should feel like it could only belong to you.
Aaron Olaguivel has spent over 15 years designing original work for clients in Pasay City and beyond, and the studio’s whole process is built around getting your concept right before a needle ever touches skin.
How a custom tattoo comes together
Custom work is a conversation, not a transaction. Here’s how it usually goes:
- The concept — we start by asking what you have in mind: the subject, the meaning behind it, the style, and roughly the size and placement.
- Reference gathering — rather than copy one image, we collect several references and pull from a reference library built over years, combining elements into something that’s genuinely your own.
- Design options — we usually present a couple of design directions for you to choose from, then refine the one you connect with.
- Revisions — we adjust the design with your feedback while staying true to the original concept, until it’s something we’re both confident in.
- The session — once the design and stencil are set, we book the session and bring it to life.
Why we don’t just copy a reference
Pulling a single photo off the internet and tattooing it directly rarely makes a strong piece. Photos aren’t designed for skin — composition, contrast, and flow all have to be reworked so the tattoo reads clearly and fits your body.
That’s why we combine multiple references and design from scratch. It takes longer, but it’s the difference between a tattoo that looks like a printout and one that looks like it was made for you — and it means no one else is walking around with your piece.
Built around your subject
Most of our custom work is realism — portraits, animals, religious and symbolic pieces, and detailed scenes — in both colour and black-and-grey. Whatever the subject, the priority is the same: clean composition, a strong focal point, and detail that holds up as it heals.
You can see more of that approach on our realism tattoos page. If your custom idea is meant to cover an existing tattoo, our cover up tattoos page explains how that works.

How to book
Custom work starts with your idea. Message us on Facebook or Instagram, or email [email protected] with your concept, any references you like, and your rough size and placement. From there we’ll talk through the design and plan it properly.
We work by appointment — for health and safety reasons we don’t take unannounced walk-ins, and custom designs are worth booking 2–3 weeks ahead so there’s time to get the concept right.
